Leading for Change
We as leaders have been gifted by our Heavenly Father, and by His gifting we are enabled to lead for CHANGE. Things must CHANGE in order to reverse the trend of decline. During our time together, we will talk about our mission in the local church. We will seek and commit ourselves to accommodate CHANGE in order to impact our communities with the gospel. It can happen — join the MOVEMENT FOR CHANGE! Labs are free but an RSVP is required. Click LABS in the top menu bar for more information on labs.
God has established His local church as the unique means to minister to a hurting and dying world. Whether your community has a homeless population, victims of human trafficking, neglected children or the forgotten elderly, your local church is called and gifted by God to bring the hope of Christ to bear on these expressions of brokenness. This LoveLoud lab will explore the biblical mandate for local churches to minister to the “least of these”—the weak and vulnerable people of your local context—and discuss ways to do so effectively. Come to this training session to learn how you and your church can join the movement of God’s people engaged in demonstrating His love by meeting significant human need while sharing Christ. Labs are free but an RSVP is required. Click LABS in the top menu bar for more information on labs.
Multiplying Urban Leaders with the Gospel
Because the cities of this world depict both the most impressive and most depressive aspects of humanity, a remnant of leaders in this context must rise to rebuild something beautiful. This beautiful something is a city where the church is constantly multiplying leaders and unleashing them to recklessly love the broken and overlooked. A city where the church is known for redeeming the image of God in every heart by the power of the gospel. This is discipleship in the city. Beautiful. Gritty. Complex. This is the Rebuild Network (rebuildnetwork.org). Labs are free but an RSVP is required. Click LABS in the top menu bar for more information on labs.
